The forecast for 2329′ on Cannon Mtn

 

It might suck right now out there, but that is a good forecast for kickin off the regular season!

Finally a good forecast! Despite the unseasonable weather the ice is starting to look really good in the White Mountains from Cathedral to Crawford.

The conditions in Crawford are improving quickly, as of mid-day on Jan 3rd, the difference between the lowest and highest elevations in the notch was obvious. Mt Willard looks the best, both the south and the east faces. Cinema had top to bottom ice, although it look thin. My bet is on Frankenstein continuing to come around with these cold temps for a good weekend ice climbing.
